A day at the boat with Arthur and his Familie!
Philippines - 22.Feb.2008
Instead of five month, like last winter I just went off south for 5 weeks. I arrived at midnight in Manila, Arthur picked me up and brought me to one of his Lodges.
May you need it, here is the adress:
Halina Hotel
#54 Liberted St. (beside the department of foreign affairs)
Pasay City

At the next day Arthur, his wife Marta, his two sons, the maid and me we were driving to the lake. It was situated about two hours south of Manila. At the first day it was to windy to go wakeboarding. We checked in, in our little bungalows. By the way which where build and managed by a german, accordantly good standard an faire prices. We spent an chilled afternoon with some soccer, dodge ball, Indoboard and D-Board.

When I got to see the boat, I was really impressed. Not only from all this cool stickers put on the right spot with love. No, also from all this nice equipment. Arhtur got all the toys to have some fun. He got blowups and tubs, fatsacks, the nice towerspeakers, wakesurfers, the airchaire, etc … But the great show down ist the Flat TV which he installed by hisself. The kids can plug there PS2 in, you can watch videos from the Ipod or the video analysi from the riding.
He got everything what you need for a long day out on the boat. And the next day we definitely spent long on the boat.
The lake was pretty big, we drove 30 minutes to the flat spot on the other shore. We were riding infront of an small layed back fishing village. The children there were enjoying the show, they cheered up and we waved to us. We spent the lunch breack in an extremely idyllic bay at the Vulkano Island. What I remember, it was an Vulkano in an Vulkano. And it is a be pretty aktiv one too. Nelly the maid prepared a very nice lunch for us on the boat.

Because of my jetlag, after that meal I quickly passed out, took a nap and catched my first sunburn. After that we all went for an second ride, and I also tried out the airchaire. A good day on the boat went by. I enjoyed it big time. Thanks again to Arthur and Marta King for this nice Weekend.
