European Wakeboardmag Rope Bash

Photoshooting in Allgäu with  Nick Davis, Mike Ketallapper, etc…

My journey was not over jet. After the Oktoberfest my new destination on Monday was called Allgäu Blaichach. It is one of the most beautiful places in Germany, actually with all the mountains and cows it looks very similar to Austria

The Wakeboarder Europe Magazine organised a so called „Rope Bash. It was an internal thing from the magazine, to collect some cool photo footage for the upcoming season.

Wakeboarder Europe hired for a week this old and traditional wood hut, in the middle of the Forrest. Equipped with about 15 beds, Pool table, Table tennis, Table-Soccer, Dart, Bonfire place, Sat-TV etc... it was more than a perfect location for all the riders and photographers which come a long way.

There were international guests like Nick Davis, Ben Hitch and Mike Ketallapper. But also the German who is who was there, like Stefan Vollert, Benny & Flo Süss, Flo Meeh, Sebi Thums, Nick Gührs, Freddy van Osten, etc... You should not miss the Story from the Rope Bash which will appear in the 2008 Wakeboarder Europe Magazine…. You will enjoy it!

Sesitec offered the whole cable exclusive for the Bash. Also a helicopter was there just for the shooting. Chris was having a big smile in his face, when he could follow nick davis an whole lab out of the helicopter. The big surprise and highlight from the shooting was this new obstacle from Sesitec. It`s kind of mixture between Kicker, Aframe and Funbox. In total its about 30 meters long and 3 meters high. Crazy thing but good fun.

After an early morning photo session on Wednesday, I started my way back home. The last wakeboard journey of the season comes to an end. On the way back I stopped for some sightseeing at the worlds most visited castle “Schloss Schwandschtein” with 5 million visitors a year… it looks like the Disneyland castle. And like always when I am around the corner, I stopped at the Alpamare in Bad Tölz to improve my Flowboarding skills.
