After the Acup in Vienna, it was kind on the road, but it was not easy to find.
Vienna to Budapest, about 50 km after the boarder, take the first Györ Exit (Györ Zentrum), after always keep right. If you get lost, you are fucked, most of the locals, speak german, but they dont know what a wakeboard is.
Back in the days there was I big diso in this main building, I remember big ECWT After Contest Parties (2002,...). Now the are putting appartments in it!
The cabel owner (Csaba Ekes) really rocks on the wakeboard, he got world champion 2006 at masters and also has a few other medails. In winter time you will meet him in thailand
The lake was digged out when they goverment build the highway. Csaba bought everything and build a wakeboard oasis out of it. He also runs a second cable in Valenza (1,5h away), wakeboad passes and seasoncards work for bought cabels.
Prices are still a bit cheaper than in austria, but how knows how long, just wait for the euro.
On sundays the swimming area is packed. But the quequ on the cabel is still o.k. people are more watching than riding.
If you watch that young hungarien lady, you know why so many austrians, make the drive to hungary :-)
