With 164 competitors from 21 nations, it was the most visited EM ever. Probably because next year the IOC will decide if Cable Wakeboarding goes to Olympia in 2020.

Nick Davies and Dominik Gührs kicked my out in the semifinal. For me the stay was holiday pure, 5 days, everday we could shredd from 7-12 and 18-20. The accomodation in Hipvillage was delux and the parties funny. Gührsi landed a TS BS 1080 in the contest and Davies showed 4times a Raley 720 in the training. i

Am Sa 18.Juni findet der größte und renommierteste Obstacle Only Contest der Welt statt. Für mich ist es eine Ehre und den 16 geladenen Fahrer zu sein, die vor 20.000 Zusehern im Stadionbad Köln so richtig aufdrehen dürfen. Das Obstacle Set up ist so Siiiiick, das Finale wird dieses mal bei Flutlicht ausgetragen und das Preisgeld würde auf 30.000 $ erhöht.

8 invited riders jamed for 2.500 €. Each good trick or massiv slam got cash into a bucket. The crowd and speaker decided. I had an very spectacular slam on the quater, if there wouldnt be soft paddings in the back, I would have been dead. I also tested the new Malibu boat.

Austrian Nationals 2011 Planksee - 1.Place

It was the highest level of riding ever shown on a austrian nationals but I still managed to defend my titel again. The current medal collection stand is: 7x gold + 2x silver on the cable and 2x silver on the boat.

Two big contests at one weekend. One for the honor and for the cash (100.000 $). I rode scatchy in the finals, but at least I got 2.500 $ from the cake. There was Camerateam with 20 people and Tausends of people came ever day from the city to watch.

Bruno Rixen the inventor of the first cableway celebrated his 80th birthday and 50th anniversary of rixen cableways. It was beautiful to see how fit and healthy Bruno is, he even did a few laps on the cable himself. There were 10.000 € pricemoney at the competiton ...

Over 2.000 spectators came, I was as impressed as the riders, media and sponsors. Those many hours of work I put in that event payed off. It was a big pleasure to see that the concept which I worked out over the winter for Energie AG and Red bull, finally became reality and worked out so good.

Over10.000 visitors on 5 days. Sport, Music und Filmfestival an Lake Constance. I was involved in the organisation of the Wakeboarcontest. 4.000 $ were splitt between 8 riders from 3 countries. 10 Riders were invited, 2 got a wildcard. We were riding on an Rixon Bro Cableway.

58 competitors in 6 categories split up 2.000 € picemoney and non-cash-prices worth 3.000 € . The stress free jamsession/best trick format guaranteed permanent action on the water with in a compact competition duration.

Österreicher Stefan Aichholzer wäre auf Sieg gefahren, seine Sprunggelenks Verletzung holte ihn jedoch auf den 4ten Platz zurück (Gruppe: Veteran /Ü40) Kevin Kobb aus Wien wird bei den Wakeskatern 3ter. Gratulation!

It was my worst Acup result ever, didnt understand the judges decicion. But thats competiton, otherwise I can already start look for a new hobby like collecting stamps.
